About IRID

A gallery for photography that resists being quickly consumed.

IRID Gallery represents photographers whose work defines how the present is seen—and remembered. Operating between Melbourne and Sydney, the gallery works across documentary, fine art, wildlife, landscape and conceptual photography.

In an image culture built around speed, IRID takes a slower position: supporting work that carries visual rigour, emotional clarity and enough depth to reward return visits.

Long-term relationships shape the gallery’s work with artists, collectors and cultural partners. The aim is not visibility alone, but context, placement and longevity.
